Dalton Old Pump house Wedding – A Stylish and Joyful Summer Day with Hannah & Sam
Dalton Old Pumphouse is one of those wedding venues that completely stops you in your tracks.
Originally a working pumphouse, it’s been lovingly transformed by a designer and his wife (a wedding dress designer!) into a show-stopping space that still holds all of its original industrial charm. Think high ceilings, arched windows, exposed brick, and layers of soft elegance – chandeliers, velvet chairs, and stunning floral arrangements that make the space feel creative, warm, and full of atmosphere.
Hannah and Sam chose Dalton Old Pump house for their relaxed summer wedding, and it couldn’t have suited them more perfectly.
The day was gloriously sunny, so guests could enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. They even brought their lovely dog Maple along for a few photos – she made a brief but very cute appearance before heading home for a nap.
Hannah looked beautifully elegant in a fishtail gown with a long train and veil. She wore her hair up, added a pair of delicate drop earrings, and chose not to wear a necklace – proving that less really can be more. Her bridesmaids were her two sisters and nieces, adding a lovely personal feel to the day, while Sam had his brother as best man and his grandad as one of the witnesses – which I just loved.
One of the standout style choices? The groomsmen’s outfits. Every one of them wore classic black suits with black bow ties and shiny black shoes – no colour coordination, no fuss, just timeless simplicity that looked amazing in the photos.
The flowers brought a soft contrast – pastel pinks and creams that added a light, romantic feel throughout the day.
As the sun dipped, the live band kicked off and the evening party got into full swing. Hannah changed into a stunning white halter-neck mini dress that looked incredible on the dancefloor – first for a father-daughter dance, and then for her and Sam’s first dance. It was such a joyful, carefree end to a beautiful day.
Everything about this wedding felt thoughtful but never overdone – elegant, relaxed, and completely true to them.
